The beach is quiet, eerily so. All animals, all insect noise, all gusts of wind have come to a complete stop this morning. The only sound is that of the ocean, but even that seems muted. Everything is hushed and as the doors of the huts opens, the only sensation that rings utterly true today is this: One of your own is gone. And now, as the rules state, it is your job to discover their fate. Welcome to the investigation post! If your character decides to search an area, please post the name of the location in your header and wait for the mod replies. Anything to discover or not to will be indicated during the course of the thread. After the body is discovered, an announcement will be made and characters are free to spend the rest of the afternoons how they like. [ okay but he's not like, a doctor. yona, please.

either way -- right off the bat, the figure is beheaded as per usual when it comes to corpses. but it's also pretty fucking gross because... well, here's the skinny.

the corpse is cut from sternum to pelvis, right down the middle and pulled apart by not... well, not a lot. let's say by what you would assume human strength can do. then on top of that, its intestines are pulled through the opening and just sprawled all over the guy's lap, since this is definitely a guy. there is also some bruising on the hands and wrists, as if the body was tied down a little.

[Prussia covers her nose against the smell before moving in closer. Mostly so Newt and Yona don't have to feel a need to unless they really want to get up close and personal with an eviscerated corpse.
